Overview
The Freelance Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in the organization by creating and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness drive website traffic and generate leads. They will be responsible for managing all social media channels creating engaging content and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to achieve marketing goals
- Create curate and manage all published content (images videos and written) on social media platforms
- Monitor listen and respond to users in a social way while cultivating leads and sales
- Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation identify key players and coordinate actions
- Create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
- Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices
- Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and complaints
- Maintain a cohesive strategy across all platforms
- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts
- Generate monthly reports on social media results
- Research and evaluate the latest trends and technologies for social media
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to plan manage and execute campaigns
- Identify threats and opportunities in usergenerated content surrounding the company
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing Communications or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Demonstrable experience with social media management including understanding of social media KPIs
- Experience in creating and curating engaging content
- Proficient in using social media management and analytics tools
- Excellent multitasking and project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Uptodate with the latest social media trends and best practices
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong analytical skills and datadriven thinking
- Experience with paid advertising on social media platforms
- Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
- Knowledge of SEO keyword research and Google Analytics
