Head of Finance at Unipos

This role initially entails a twoyear temporary position due to parental leave. However after this period it will transition into a permanent position as Senior Finance.

About Us: Unipos is a leading developer and manufacturer of equipment and systems for fire and gas detection. Recently acquired by the Swedish group Consilium Safety Group Unipos is now part of a globally renowned organization dedicated to safety solutions backed by Antin a prominent Private Equity firm.

With a turnover of approximately 12 million Unipos boasts a dedicated team of around 140 professionals primarily based in Pleven and Sofia. As part of our growth strategy we are seeking a dynamic individual to join us as Finance Manager.

The Role: As Head of Finance you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our finance function postacquisition. Working closely with our existing team in Pleven you will oversee all aspects of financial accounting and controlling for Unipos. This includes ensuring highquality reporting with short timelines driving process automation and spearheading change initiatives across the company. As a key member of both the Unipos management team and the global Consilium finance community you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the performance of the Unipos financial accounting and reporting areas
• Lead the closure of annual financial and statutory accounts
• Oversee the Budget and Forecast process
• Ensure timely completion of financial statements income tax returns and other statutory reporting
• Organize and prioritize workload to achieve business and department goals
• Develop retain and lead team members
• Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Submit monthly financial reports accurately and on time
• Contribute to key projects within the Consilium Safety Group

Skills & Qualifications:

• University Degree specializing in Finance or Accounting
• Experience in a team lead or supervisor role
• CPA/Chartered Accountancy or equivalent finance professional qualification
• Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting in a production environment
• Proficiency in IFRS financial analysis and ERP systems (Microsoft AX preferred)
• Experience in an international environment is advantageous
• Excellent command of English and Bulgarian additional languages are a plus
