Job Description
As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of housekeeping operations within our establishment. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Assign tasks and schedules to housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of duties.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to address guest requests and ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with procurement to replenish as needed.
- Handle guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping, and take appropriate actions to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintain records and reports related to housekeeping activities, including room occupancy and cleanliness scores.
- Implement and enforce safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to housekeeping operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or coordinator role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in housekeeping software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations and practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
