Job Description:

As a Performance Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability scalability and efficiency of our cloudbased applications with a primary focus on minimizing latency and enhancing enduser experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Utilize monitoring tools and techniques to continuously monitor application performance metrics identify latency bottlenecks and analyze system behavior under varying workloads.
2. Performance Testing: Design develop and execute comprehensive performance tests to evaluate system responsiveness throughput and scalability. Collaborate with development teams to implement performance testing frameworks and methodologies.
3. Optimization Strategies: Develop and implement optimization strategies to reduce latency enhance application response times and improve overall system performance. Work closely with development teams to implement performance enhancements and address identified bottlenecks.
4. Capacity Planning: Assist in capacity planning efforts by forecasting resource utilization analyzing performance trends and providing recommendations for scaling infrastructure to accommodate future growth.
5. Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance issues conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address identified issues. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve complex performancerelated problems.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of performance testing results optimization strategies and troubleshooting procedures. Generate periodic reports to communicate performance metrics trends and improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices emerging technologies and cloud performance optimization techniques. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in performance engineering with a focus on optimizing latency for cloudbased applications (Azure Cloud preferred).
• Proficiency in performance monitoring and analysis tools such as Azure Monitor Application Insights or similar.
• Handson experience with performance testing tools and frameworks (e.g. JMeter Gatling LoadRunner).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles architecture and services (IaaS PaaS SaaS).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis of complex performance issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Certification in cloud computing (e.g. Azure Certified AWS Certified) is a plus.
