Job Description

Title: Sr. Peoplesoft Functional Lead
Location: Chelsea MA (Hybrid)
Duration: Multi Year Renewable Contract
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per week


Overview:
Client is seeking a motivated experienced IT professional to join the Enterprise Application Services Team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in application development; complex hybrid architecture both physical and on cloud platforms; exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating on crossfunctional teams; and the skills to effectively troubleshoot prioritize and resolve issues to ensure applications remain operational. This position will support daily activities for multiple functional areas and systems that support 24/7 operations and requires the candidate to collaborate with cross functional teams in a fast paced and fluid setting.

The incumbent of this position supports a number of enterprise applications. The selected candidate will perform activities related to the analysis design testing maintenance and support of the HRCMS Human Resources/Compensation Management System an Oracle/PeopleSoft HR and Payroll application. Activities are conducted in conformity with client standards.
The individual will facilitate change management activities between the project team and IT service groups; and participate in all phases of the project life cycle with emphasis on application design fitgap analysis configuration and thorough understanding of application interfaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure Design support development of enhancements to Peoplesoft HCM application.
  • Stay abreast of the new releases of Images tax updates and patches.
  • Present new features delivered to the project governance board.
  • Independently work on tasks end to end take ownership from Design to Production migration including communication to various teams
  • Handle all customer requests promptly within the organizations SLA.
  • Ensure that products conform to Section 508 Accessibility requirements.
  • Provide support to Business analysts in production support or new functionality fitgap sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure development configuration and implementation is consistent with user specifications and perform followup as required.
  • Advise Management on administrative and operating problems pertaining to system administration and management.
  • Participate in all phases of application test scripting and testing.
  • Provide best practice and approach to implementing new functionality.
  • Ensure that the scheduled migrations are accurate and timely.
  • Train the FTE Staff in the new features


Qualifications:

  • Required 7 years of Experience in Peoplesoft HCM Implementations
  • Required 4 years of leading business fitgap session and requirements development.
  • Expert in providing demos of new features and functionality.
  • Expert in operationalizing the new features and work with developers in automation
  • Extend training of the changes to the existing or new functionality to FTE Staff
  • Possess excellent communication and documentation skills
