ON-CALL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - ORACLE APEX TIER III

Job Title: ONCALL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR ORACLE APEX
(TIER III)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Oracle databases in both onpremise and cloud environments.

• Perform database installations configurations and upgrades as required.

• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.

• Monitor database performance and optimize as needed to ensure optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement database solutions.

• Document database configurations procedures and best practices.

• Provide support and guidance to junior database administrators as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of three years of experience in database administration with a focus on Oracle technologies.

• Proficiency in Oracle APEX and SQL.

• Experience with both onpremise and cloudbased Oracle databases.

• Strong understanding of database architecture and data modeling concepts.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.

• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques is a plus.

• Oracle certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Associate) are desirable but not required.
