Job Description

Job Title: Corporate Solicitor

Location: Leeds

Position Overview: They are seeking a talented Corporate Solicitor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing comprehensive legal advice and support on a variety of corporate matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions joint ventures and corporate restructurings.
  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of corporate documents such as share purchase agreements asset purchase agreements and shareholders agreements.
  • Conducting due diligence investigations and preparing related reports for clients.
  • Providing legal advice on corporate governance matters and compliance issues.
  • Assisting with the formation and dissolution of companies as well as advising on company law matters.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver integrated solutions for clients.


Requirements


  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in corporate law.
  • Strong academic background with a law degree from a reputable university.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex corporate transactions from inception to completion.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of company law corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving and a commitment to delivering highquality legal advice.
