Job Description

Looking for Oracle DBA

Location: San Antonio TX


Consultant must have TSA SCI level 1 clearance

General Experience:

At least five (7) years of experience in developing data conversion migration logic in SQL PL/SQL Oracle export/import/data pump materialized views ETL tools other scripting languages such as SQL Python Linux Shell Script Perl Windows PowerShell AWS DMS.

Must have experience on maintaining both Onpremises Oracle and AWS RDS Oracle Database.

Experience in database migration. It is good to have experience on migrating Onpremises Oracle to AWS RDS Oracle Database.

Hands on experience using AWS tools like AWS DMS AWS Glue.

Should be able to manage microservice architecture databases.

Hands on experience in database administration tasks including:

Performance tuning

Design and implementation of Disaster Recovery to meet defined business objectives

Implementation and support of high availability features including Clustering Always On Database Mirroring and Replication

Experience tuning complex database systems for production systems at the application database and system levels.

Experience in modernizing Legacy applications in the Federal domain.

*Specialized Experience:

Knowledge in using AWS DMS AWS Glue GitHub and shell scripting.

Knowledge in database servers such as Oracle Oracle (AWS RDS) AWS Aurora PostgreSQL SQL Server

Experience with federal grants management data elements standards.
