Average 13 hours a week Monday Sunday (based over a 4week rota).
Description
Do you want to work at the leading conference events fitness and leisure complex in the area To add to our enthusiastic and customer focused team we are looking for a motivated and flexible person to fill a part time receptionist role.
This role will include evening and weekend shifts plus holiday and sickness cover when required.
Job responsibility
Ensuring customer care is always of the highest standard i.e. presentation appearance and manner.
Undertaking telephone duties for all incoming calls to the venue giving advice taking messages and redirecting calls when necessary.
Having sound knowledge of all aspects of the products facilities and activities that Venue 360 as a business offers. Particular expertise/greater knowledge should be in the leisure and Lifelines Health Club side of the business.
Maintain effective departmental filling systems to ensure files can be easily accessed and retrieved.
Maintain records to assist in the smooth running of the department.
Responsible for keeping the main reception area clean and tidy with all the new and relevant information.
Advising members of current courses available and the suitability for their needs.
Booking sports activities and classes.
Dealing with lost property enquiries recording and safe storage of valuables found
Adding new members onto the system and processing/buying the appropriate membership.
Assisting the management team in any area of the venue operation to ensure members requirements are met.
Monitoring the reception inbox responding to all emails and addressing questions or forwarding them to the appropriate department as necessary.
Ensures any relevant issues are brought to the duty managers attention.
Cashing up tills and reconciling tills.
Walk customers through our joining and booking processes online.
Assist leisure managers in maintaining departmental databases.
Required attributes and skills
Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
Excellent teamwork skills to work productively with other members of staff and departments.
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as per the demands of the business.
The ability to handle complaints and deal promptly with any issues trying to resolve them where possible all within a professional manner.
Strong customer service and operational skills are essential.
Good timekeeping and a pleasant demeanour along with a sociable nature.
A can do attitude and a willingness to learn.
Can work comfortably under pressure.
Desirable attributes and skills
Previous experience as a receptionist in a similar establishment is preferred.
Experience with the leisure booking system Gladstone Plus2.
Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft office).
Flexibility to deal with a fastpaced reception environment for all parts of the company.
