Overview:
The Admission Counselor for MBA & PGDM plays a crucial role in attracting and recruiting prospective students for the MBA & PGDM programs. This role requires a mix of sales counseling and customer service skills to effectively guide and support potential students through the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting informational sessions and campus tours for prospective students
- Reviewing and evaluating applications for MBA & PGDM programs
- Providing guidance on program offerings admission requirements and financial aid options
- Assisting students with the application process and ensuring all required documents are submitted
- Following up with prospective students to answer questions and address concerns
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate admissions events and activities
- Participating in recruitment events and college fairs to promote MBA & PGDM programs
- Conducting interviews and assessments of potential candidates
- Building and maintaining relationships with high schools agencies and other educational partners
- Monitoring and reporting on admissions metrics and trends
- Contributing to the development of marketing and communication strategies
- Providing support and guidance to admitted students during the enrollment process
- Participating in training and professional development activities
- Ensuring compliance with admissions policies and regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience in admissions recruitment or sales
- Strong understanding of MBA & PGDM programs and curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of admissions processes and procedures
