Job Title : Director of Sales and Marketing
Location : Philadelphia PA
Type : Onsite Fulltime

Position: Director of Sales Technical Products

Job Summary:

Client is seeking an experienced individual for the role of Director of Sales for our Technical Products Division. As a Director level role you will be part of a peer group responsible for driving the daytoday activities of the business as well as working to inform our longerterm strategies. This role reporting directly to the CEO needs to bring an entrepreneurial and customerfocused mindset to help develop a scalable customer account management team and focused efforts on the expansion of sales opportunities among new and existing clients.

The Director of Sales will be responsible to build and lead a customerfacing support team that will work to develop and foster meaningful mutually beneficial and longlasting relationships with a diverse group of customers. The Director of Sales will be responsible for technical sales customer service estimating and technical design support for our customers. Candidates do not need to be experts in magnetic shielding but they must be technically minded and have a proven track record of acquiring and leveraging technical knowledge in a customerfacing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop a scalable customer account management team that can support our technical customers with daily production expediting quote requests new product development opportunities and cost reduction strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to nurture existing customer relationships while identifying new customers markets and opportunities.
  • Establish monitor and track sales forecasts budgets team performance goals and the customer targets necessary to achieve shortterm and longterm business goals.
  • Drive for continuous improvement in the experience that our customers enjoy throughout the entire lifecycle of a sale and that establishes a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Represent as a technical expert at inperson industry events conferences and client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of bachelors degree in an engineering or businessrelated field.
  • Proven experience leading customerfacing teams responsible for building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve objectives.
  • Comfortable operating alongside other executive leaders collaborating on strategic initiatives and contributing to companywide decisionmaking.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
  • Exposure to sheet metal fabrication processes and a strong desire to expand knowledge in the field of magnetic shielding.
  • Experience and confidence in working with a companywide ERP system.
  • Experience working within an ISO certified environment.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
