Perform mechanical splicing and terminating of fiber optic cables.
Troubleshoot and diagnose cabling issues to ensure optimal performance.
Test and certify cabling installations to industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
Proven experience as a cabling technician with a strong emphasis on fiber optic coaxial Cat5 and Cat6 cabling.
Proficiency in mechanical splicing and terminating fiber optic cables.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for cabling installations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
