Freelance Senior Matte Painter

DIGIC is a 20-year-old, Annie Award winning animation studio based in Hungary that has made its reputation with its high-end 3D animation for feature films, and commercials within the video game industry.

DIGIC is best known for creating fine details and realistic characters as well as world-class rendering in the production of the animated shorts.

We are looking for a Senior Matte Painters to work with us as freelancers on future projects!

The starting date and duration of your contract will be determined by the project schedule AND your availability!

Responsibilities

• Creating photorealistic and stylized Matte Paintings for DIGIC’s animated films
• Continuous cooperation with Art Directors and Project Leads

Essential skills

• Ability and visual skills to draw and paint
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Nuke
• Experience in Full CG or VFX production environment
• Legal ability to work as freelancer

Desirable skills

• Experience in creating 3D environment art
• Experience in modeling, texturing, shading
• Maya knowledge
• Openness to share knowledge with others
• Clarisse iFX knowledge
• Major in Arts
