Overview
The Talent Acquisition Intern plays a critical role in supporting the HR and recruitment team by assisting in the sourcing attracting and hiring of top talent. This position is essential in building a strong workforce that drives the organizations success. The intern will gain handson experience in various talent acquisition activities and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and attracting candidates through various channels such as social media job boards and networking
- Screen and review resumes to identify potential candidates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Support the recruitment team in organizing and attending career fairs and campus recruitment events
- Assist in creating and posting job descriptions on job boards and company website
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications
- Participate in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and initiatives
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the recruitment process
- Assist in maintaining applicant tracking system and recruitment documentation
- Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives
- Provide administrative support to the recruitment team as needed
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition
- Participate in special projects related to talent acquisition and HR
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment efforts
- Assist in creating and updating recruitment reports and metrics
Required qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- Strong interest in talent acquisition and recruitment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations is a plus
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Selfmotivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the HR field
- Experience in customer service retail or office environment is desirable
- Knowledge of HRIS or applicant tracking systems is an advantage
- Ability to adapt to change and contribute innovative ideas
- Available to commit to a fulltime or parttime internship program
