Teamlead Metallurgy mwd

Our client is a mediumsized technically advanced production company in the metal processing industry with 750 employees. Its affiliation with an international corporation and its high level of technical expertise makes this company unique in Germany. A wide range of extensive investment projects are planned for the further development of the site.

Tasks

* Familiarization with primary lead and zinc production and analysis of synergy potentials
* Conducting own projects in collaboration with the site and Corporate
* Identification of missing information and development of new methods/measures to obtain it
* Plant and process flow analysis to identify improvement potentials
* Development of experimental concepts and planning of laboratory and industrial trials in the field of polymetallic material processing
* Preparation of mass and energy balances and evaluation of existing and new processes
* Responsibility/leadership for a project team consisting of technicians and engineers
* Project management: ideation planning and execution as well as preparation and presentation of project study and test reports
* Validation of metallurgical concepts

Requirements

* Completed university degree in metallurgy chemical engineering or a related field preferably with a PhD
* Minimum of five years of industry experience in metallurgy or process engineering with at least two years of leadership experience
* Knowledge in flowsheet simulation (HSC SIM) thermodynamics or process modeling is desirable
* Proficiency in project management (planning and implementation)
* Enthusiasm for complex metallurgical topics
* Structured and solutionoriented work approach combined with strong analytical skills
* Resilience excellent communication and teamwork skills and a high level of assertiveness
* Selfresponsibility independence and entrepreneurial thinking
* Excellent MS Office skills
* Excellent English language skills in both written and verbal communication
* German skills to ensure effective communication is beneficial but not mandatory at a higher leve
