Job description
Hexonic a global leader in heat exchange solutions is looking for a skilled Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) Fabricator to join our team in Gaffney South Carolina. The PHE Fabricator will be involved in the material receiving / picking assembly testing and shipping. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with the ability to work with minimal supervision and cooperate in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhering to workplace safety protocols and best practices
- Work Instructions: Reading understanding and following routings and work instructions.
- Blueprints: understanding basic engineering blueprints and schematic diagrams to accurately assemble PHE s
- Tool and Equipment Handling: Safely and effectively operating various tools and equipment necessary for the fabrication
- Inspection of Delivered Materials: Carefully inspect all incoming materials and components used in the fabrication
- Inventory Management: Assisting in the management of inventory ensuring physical inventory matches the records in the ERP system.
- Assembly: Assembling various components of plate heat exchangers including plates gaskets frames and other parts
- Leak and Pressure Testing: Carrying out leak tests and pressure tests to verify the integrity and safety of the heat exchangers
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of work performed including documentation of materials used tests conducted and any issues encountered.
- Shipping of Finished Products: Ensure that all fabricated plate heat exchangers are properly prepared for shipment using secure packaging to prevent damage during transport.
- Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with a team which includes other fabricators to ensure coordinated efforts and highquality outcomes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior exposure to leanManufacturing environment preferred

Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week. Monday through Thursday 6am to 4pm. Off every Friday.
