Role Overview:
AniCura seeks a Procurement Operations Expert for the Scandinavian region covering Sweden Norway and Denmark. Your role involves developing and handson implementation of optimal procurement practices to enhance the total costofbuying within your region.
In this position youll join AniCuras Group Procurement team comprising 11 individuals collectively responsible for managing supplier relations and promoting procurement excellence throughout the organization.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identify local suppliers and consolidate them where possible.
- Implement centrally negotiated agreements at the local level.
- Foster strong relationships with local suppliers.
- Manage catalogues and streamline assortments.
- Develop processes for order and stock management.
- Establish an approved supplier list and manage supplier approvals.
- Ensure clinic procurement compliance and governance.
- Facilitate procurement communication and community within clusters.
- Build and drive procurement community within the markets.
- Focus is on standardizing and simplifying procurement practices and to drive procurement value (quality price sustainability and time saving for the clinics) across AniCura in an aligned way by working closely with your peers in the other clusters.
- Collaborate closely with Category Managers from the Group Procurement team and the Country Veterinary and Operations team to effectively select purchase and utilize products that meet AniCuras quality standards efficiently.
You are expected to have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a veterinarian veterinary technician or nurse involved in clinic procurement or experience in procurement or category management.
- Strong academic or other relevant education record
- Proven negotiation skills
- Experience working in an international team and/or environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills fluent in English
- Proficiency in one of the regional languages (Swedish Norwegian Danish).
- Preferred experience in medical veterinary or related industries (pharmaceuticals veterinary care human healthcare medical equipment) with product knowledge being advantageous..
