Job Description
Job Title: Operations Analyst
Reports to: Head of Credit
Salary: R35k R40k / month
Location: Hybrid Cape Town
About Us
Our client is a fastgrowing fintech lending company based in the UK. They specialize in legal cases. This role would support the Underwriting team and report to the Head of Credit.
Minimum Requirements:
- University Graduate (Degree related to Finance Business or Accounting)
- Previous experience in an operational role within a lending/finance business is highly advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Process executed loan documentation by:
- Keeping borrowers and solicitors updated about the status of a loan
- Checking and filing all executed documentation
- Obtaining any outstanding documentation and ensuring all parties meet their obligations (e.g. solicitor undertaking chasing severance of tenancy and evidence of form of notice to spouse having been issued)
- Staying on top of the legal cases:
- Obtaining regular updates from solicitors and borrowers
- Maintaining clear records of updates in files
- Updating senior members of the team on the status of cases on a regular basis and reporting any potential issues
- Escalating & resolving any potential issues as quickly as possible
- Managing loan accounts:
- Processing all invoices received uploading to Aryza obtaining client authorisation and reporting any issues to their manager
- Ensuring invoices received are in line with the expected facility limits approved at loan set up
- Issuing statements of account redemption statements & annual statements
- Processing loan facility and term increases
- Informing manager and finance team of any expected repayments
- Ensuring the Companys compliance policies e.g. AML/data protection etc are adhered to in line with FCA regulations.
