Our client is fast growing multinational in the building material industry with ambitious growth plans globally looking to hire a Area Sales Manager to manage UAE & KSA markets for the company as a representative for the existing clients as well as new clients.
Responsibilities
Grow the customer base connecting with Architects & Designers Build & Develop companies as well as FitOut installation businesses in UAE and Saudi Arabia
Customer advisory service on site as well as via telephone email and video conferencing
Regular screening of new build and renovation projects sales potential analysis successful lead conversion and monitoring of competitor activities. Followup on prequalified leads handed over by Inside Sales and opening of accounts
Improve the company s commercial readiness for the UAE and KSA markets and hence ensure that products and services fit best to customer expectations
Technical supervision of construction projects starting with tendering process through the awarding of contracts to building site supervision
Close cooperation with Inside Sales and Customer Service on quotation management
Sales closing and firstlevel complaint processing
Organization and implementation of training events and trade fairs
Tracking of customer activities in the CRM system (Salesforce)

IDEAL EXPERIENCE
IT Software and Sales Tools
Skilled handling of MS Office products e. g. Outlook Excel Word as well as Teams.
SAP experience preferable
Salesforce experience would be an advantage.
Sales Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in field sales in flooring interior design or building materials trade sectors.
A deep understanding of the UAE/KSA architect and interior design community and professional teams (project managers cost consultants etc)
Significant experience as a specifier in the renovation or new build market.
