Job Description
Overview:
The TGT/PGT Chemistry Teacher plays a critical role in educating students in the subject of Chemistry and preparing them for future academic and professional pursuits. They are responsible for creating a conducive learning environment designing engaging lesson plans and fostering a passion for the subject among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver interactive and comprehensive Chemistry lessons
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to enhance learning
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Assess and evaluate students progress through assignments and examinations
- Manage and maintain a wellorganized classroom
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods
- Participate in parentteacher meetings and provide feedback on students performance
- Integrate technology into teaching methodologies
- Maintain accurate records of students progress and development
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field
- PGT/TGT certification in Chemistry
- Demonstrated teaching experience in a similar role
- Profound knowledge of Chemistry concepts and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong classroom management abilities
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Patient empathetic and understanding towards students needs
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards of teaching
