Job Description
Job Description: Mould Designer
Company: Laxmi Electronics
Location Bangalore
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop moulds for casting and forming metal components using CAD/CAM software.
2. Interpret technical drawings specifications and customer requirements to create accurate mould designs.
3. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure mould designs meet quality standards and production targets.
4. Optimize mould designs for efficiency costeffectiveness and manufacturability.
5. Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate mould performance and identify areas for improvement.
6. Generate detailed documentation including drawings bill of materials and manufacturing instructions for mould production.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to mould manufacturing and maintenance teams.
8. Stay updated with industry trends new technologies and best practices in mould design and manufacturing.
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in mould design preferably in the metal casting industry.
3. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or CATIA.
4. Strong knowledge of mould design principles materials and manufacturing processes.
5. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
7. Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in design work.
8. Flexibility to work in Ghaziabad or Sikandarabad locations as required.
