Job Description:

The primary role of the Helper is to perform precision smoothing polishing or grinding of all component parts and products. Read prints for required specifications and dimensions. Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment. Deburr buff or grind materials to specifications. Ensure grinding wheels are dressed according to specifications so that all machines remain at peak performance. Ensure that safety devices are operative. Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area daily. Complete assigned work within given time frame and according to specifications. Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Understanding of manufacturing tools and their proper use.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Ability and willingness to follow directions.

Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

Verbal communication skills.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. sit stand walk climb stairs reach etc.

Work environment may include high noise areas working at heights confined spaces congested work sites shift work duration rotations shop setting etc.
