Senior JavaScript Engineer

As Avertra Corp s JavaScript Developer you will be in charge of all duties related to the frontend platform from developing designs for complicated applications to analyzing code. This includes optimizing applications ensuring UI/UX feasibility and implementing API designs and architecture.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Create new userfacing features and frontend applications for various platforms.
  
• Help out with frontend work on other applications.
  
• Modify/maintain complex existing applications and develop new specifications and designs.
  
• Perform requirements analysis identification of code metrics code analysis system risk analysis usability automation and software reliability analysis.
  

Requirements

Needed Competencies:

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
  
• Communication skills and critical thinking.
  

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
  
• CSS compiler knowledge (E.g. Sass LESS).
  

Experience:

• At least 35 years of experience in web technologies HTML CSS and JavaScript.
  
• Experience with a responsive design for desktop/mobile.
  
• Extensive HTML/CSS/JavaScript coding experience including Node and React.
  

Education:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or Information Technology.

Experience configuring and using testing tools and systems. Ability to understand technical specifications. Solid organizational skills and initiative. Preferences: Knowledge in Tosca, JavaScript and HTML. Work with Agile methodology. Familiar with Jira. Run different types of testing (Performance, Integration, Database).
