Cloud Solution Architect- Qatar

A. Scope of Work:Cloud SME will play a pivotal role in digital transformation journey of the organization, who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with the business objectives and meets the highest standards of security and compliance.B. Accountabilities:Design and implement Azure/AWS cloud solutions, ensuring they meet the business needs and are scalable, reliable, and secure.Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Provide technical guidance to application team & SME, ensuring best practices are followed.Monitor and manage Azure environment, ensuring its performance, availability, and security.Keep up-to-date with the latest cloud features and technologies and advise on their adoption.Implementation and support for Networking, Databases, Software, Storage and compute in the Cloud.Design architecture for integrating & migration of core infrastructure technologies with cloud solution.Perform risk assessments of existing and new technology deployments.Troubleshoot operational issues, escalate as appropriate and offer solutions.Collaborate with application development, network/security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration within the production environment, including validation planning, validation testing coordination, and reporting production readiness for deployment.Establish standards, tools, and processes to be used by the team and create procedures (SOPs) to guarantee adherence and compliance to those standards.Develop, document, and understand internal IT processes and procedures.Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.Automate Infrastructure provisioning, configuring, and managing with the Company-approved IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tool, maintain the Version Control for Infrastructure definitions in the IaC repository, providing traceability and accountability.Solution design assistance, Installation, configuration, Maintenance and Support SaaS, PaaS, Server less and IaaS components hosted on the Cloud platform as per Business requirements with careful consideration of Security, Cost, Capacity planning, Licensing compliance and optimal performance.Architecture design assistance, Build, Maintain and Support for Database Services in CloudPlatform - Synapse, Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB.Ensure timely resolution of issues, responsible for communicating with all impacted parties the status and resolution of all issues.Design and implement disaster recovery strategies.Develop new features and functionality for existing systems while maintaining performance standards.Monitor system performance to ensure that it meets business requirements, identifying potential issues before they become problems, and recommending solutions.Manage virtual machines, scale sets, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) instances.Configure and manage Azure Storage solutions, including Blob Storage, Azure Files, and Azure Disk Storage.Ensure high availability of critical applications and services through proper Azure architecture and configurations. C. Qualification:Strong working knowledge of security best practices for Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud technologies.Experience deploying Azure resources and other cloud technologies, including Office 365, PAAS, IAAS, SAAS, Power BI, etc.Experience with Azure Active Directory, conditional Access Policies, and third-party single sign-on technologies.Experience with Azure Landing Pages, Blueprints, RBAC, and PowerShell scripting.Strong understanding of security concepts surrounding operating systems and applications.Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, Certificate Services, IIS, etc.Ability to create detailed Visio diagrams.Knowledge of IT industry standards, change management processes, and use of enterprise standards change control procedures.Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external groups in a team environment to improve overall customer service and support.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.Ability to work independently, prioritize existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance.Proven background in providing excellent customer service.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; think and act quickly to solve issues.Require excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to provide the explanation of technology for nontechnical managers, directors, and above. Great people skills are a must.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and practices.Ability to understand the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines governing all activities.Proven experience in administering Microsoft Azure environments.Strong understanding of cloud technologies, security best practices, and Azure governance.D. Experience:5/- Years experience in same role.E. Education:Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.F. General Remarks:The role is in Diyar United Company- Qatar.The budget for the role is around QAR 15,000- 18,000/-.Qatar based/ transferable visa
