Refuse Loader

We have an exciting opportunity for Refuse Loaders to join our client, a market leader in the Waste Management industry based in Sittingbourne, Swale on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday 6:30AM -2:30PM/finish

Pay rate:

11.96 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a refuse loader, you will be responsible for the collection and disposal of waste and recyclable materials from residential and commercial areas. Working as part of a team, you will ensure that waste collection routes are completed efficiently and in accordance with established schedules and safety guidelines.

• Following a dustcart on foot, paying close attention to public safety and traffic management.
• Collecting and loading household waste into the dustcart.
• Operating bin lift machinery (all training will be given).
• Represent the agency, the client and the local council in a positive and friendly manner to local businesses and residents.
• Covering large areas on foot and outside in all weather.
