Benelux Medical Staff a leading staffing agency is searching for a dedicated Acute Med Surgical having expertise in Medical Surgical Ortho/Neuro and Oncology for a Fulltime position in Corpus Christi Texas. Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care for patients with orthopaedic neurological and oncological conditions.
- Assist physicians during examinations and treatments administer prescribed medications and monitor patient vital signs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records on care condition and progress.
- Participate as a primary nurse associate nurse or team leader in care planning and implementation.
- Direct and assist in carrying out safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
- Offer leadership and direction to support staff within the department fostering a culture of teamwork and quality.
- Care for orthopaedic patient s postelective surgeries fractures from the ER and neuro overflow cases.
- Provide acute inpatient oncology care including chemotherapy/hematology interventions and symptom management for cancer patients.
- Support patients with new or existing cancer diagnoses offering compassionate and comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Able to assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care.
- Two years of Oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Current Texas State RN License
- CPR (American Heart Association)
- Oncology Clinical Nurse Certification (ONC ) (Chemo) or Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) preferred.
Benefits
- RN pay range $28.50 $46.40
- Shift $2.50 weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- $3.50 evening after 7 pm
- $4.50 nights after 11 pm
- Nightshift Hours: 7pm 7am
- $10K signon bonus
- $5K relocation if relocating
