Overview:
As a Gynecologist you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to women focusing on the female reproductive systems health. You will diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions and provide comprehensive care to pregnant women.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine gynecological examinations and screening tests
- Diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions and diseases
- Performing surgeries such as hysterectomies laparoscopies and cesarean sections
- Providing prenatal and postnatal care to pregnant women
- Advising patients on contraceptive options and family planning
- Managing menopausal and postmenopausal health concerns
- Collaborating with other medical professionals for comprehensive patient care
- Keeping abreast of advancements in gynecological treatments and procedures
- Documenting patient medical histories and treatment plans
- Providing emotional support and counseling to patients
Required Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from an accredited medical school
- MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Gynecologist
- Minimum of 23 years of residency training in gynecology
- Proficiency in performing gynecological surgeries
- Strong diagnostic and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
- Uptodate knowledge of gynecological medical practices
