Job Description

Overview

As an Mbbs RMO in Ludhiana Punjab you will play a crucial role in providing primary medical care to patients at our facility. Your contribution as a Resident Medical Officer is vital in ensuring the wellbeing of patients and maintaining high medical standards within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Assessing and treating patients in the medical ward.
  • Providing emergency medical care to patients as necessary.
  • Participating in medical rounds and discussions with senior medical staff.
  • Monitoring and managing patient progress during their hospital stay.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assisting in surgical procedures as needed.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams to optimize patient care.
  • Responding to medical emergencies and providing prompt intervention.
  • Adhering to all clinical and ethical standards in patient care.
  • Supervising junior medical staff and providing guidance as required.
  • Participating in ongoing medical education and training programs.
  • Conducting health education and counseling for patients and their families.
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the medical facility.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures.

Required qualifications

  • MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of internship and registration with the Medical Council.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an RMO or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of medical principles and practices.
  • Excellent diagnostic and decisionmaking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using medical equipment and technology.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Understanding of ethical and legal standards in healthcare.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care documentation.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  • Adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
