TryHackMe, the fastest-growing cyber security training platform, serves over three million global users and over 200 businesses. We provide guided, gamified, hands-on training that caters to all skill levels and covers various security areas, including offensive and defensive security.

Despite being a young product (~5 years), we have become one of the largest cyber security training platforms. However, this is just the start of our growth journey. We aim to create world-class learning experiences for individuals and teams continually. Utilising data will play a significant role in helping us scale!

We're seeking a Midweight-to-Senior Creative Designer to create visually engaging assets for various teams at TryHackMe. This role primarily involves creating vector-based illustrations, character designs, and animations. It offers the exciting opportunity to create dynamic designs that promote our groundbreaking platform to millions of users worldwide.

The Role:

Your creativity and skillset will assist in establishing TryHackMe as an iconic brand, while also contributing to providing millions of people with a memorable learning experience.

• Possesses extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat for Print Production, and After Effects.
• Experience designing with Lottie Files, Figma, and Notion software is desirable.
• Utilise Adobe Illustrator to create high-quality vector-based illustrations and designs, primarily for training rooms (task illustrations, banners, icons, diagrams), in accordance with TryHackMe’s brand guidelines.
• Produce illustrative assets for our product and for marketing purposes.
• Use Adobe After Effects and Lottie Files to create animations for in-game challenges and social assets.
• Collaborate with and support the Content Engineering, Marketing, and Product Team.
• Undertake other design-related tasks, including creating marketing materials, website assets, PDFs, and print-ready artwork.
• Stay updated with current digital trends in tech and suggest innovative ideas to help build TryHackMe’s brand.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Fluency in English.
• BA/BS in Illustration/Graphic Design or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional vector-based illustration experience.
• Animation skills using Adobe After Effects and Lottie Files including character animation.
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite [Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat for Print Production, and After Effects.]
• Exceptional creativity and innovative skills.
• Passion for branding and a spirit of collaboration.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and knowledge for producing pixel-perfect designs.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage work efficiently and autonomously.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned projects and show initiative.
• A portfolio demonstrating your vector-based illustration skills and animations.
