VACANCY OVERVIEW ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Airswift are a Global Manpower Provider specializing in the Energy, Infrastructure & IT sectors. We are working with our client based in Qatar to source a Electrical Engineer roles under Operations & Readiness Department. This is a 3 - years residential contract to be based in Qatar. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable. Minimum 12 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 10 years in Oil & Gas industry with an international reputable Operating company. Experience in operations and maintenance is mandatory. Skill / knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or QP standards related to his area of expertise and Design Software related to Electrical Engineering such as ETAP, CYME Model, etc. Exposure with international consulting company, EPIC contractor with projects’ pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and Hand-over activities is an added advantage. Possess sound fundamentals in his discipline area. Shall possess very good technical skills in his discipline. Possess good communication, presentation skills and fluent in English language Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical support and assure operations team in the Electrical engineering for the assigned projects, in order to achieve the required technical quality and integrity of work while considering projects, Operations and Maintenance requirements and objectives in terms of safety, time and cost. Responsible for provision of the required quality technical support in the area of Electrical engineering expertise through all stages of the project. Verify and review technical designs, documents and bids in accordance with approved standards and to meet Operations, Maintenance, Asset and Pipeline Integrity and HSE requirements. Ensure Scope Preparation Completeness Review and hands on experience in HV/LV Sub-stations, switchgears, Motors, CP system, Small power and lighting, earthing, VSDS, All other motors, Batteries and protection relays. Plan and coordinate between Operations, Maintenance and Asset Integrity teams to ensure project requirements are met and aligned. Identifies potential hazards during Engineering activities (as applicable) such as Document Review, Design Safety Review workshop, SAFOP, HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, QRA, FERA, etc., participates in technical meetings, commissioning activities,
