Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team at BioLamina a wellknown biotech company with expertise in cell culturebased research and matrix biology.

In this role you will play a vital part helping us meet the needs of our customers and production ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and supplies essential for our development efforts. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and you have previous procurement expertise preferably from a production environment and ideally from the biotech or pharmaceutical industries.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
  • Source evaluate and select suppliers based on quality cost and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement timelines to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Develop routines and processes for procurement and the inbound flow of materials.
  • Provide secure and innovative system support to meet material control and quality needs.
  • Maintain master data by making sure the ERP system up to date with contract pricing lists article data and supplier data.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field or a minimum of five years working experience in procurement logistics or supply chain management preferably in the biotech or life sciences industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent speaking and writing abilities in English and Swedish.
