As they continue to grow our client is looking for a seasoned Parts Advisor to become a key player within their parts department team.

Job Summary:
As a Parts Advisor specializing in import brands you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our parts operations both at the back counter for our service technicians and through our wholesale channels. Your extensive experience and deep knowledge of import brand parts will enable you to provide expert advice manage inventory effectively and ensure customer satisfaction at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the goto expert for all parts inquiries and needs related to our core import brands: Honda Hyundai Nissan Toyota and Lexus.

Provide exceptional service to both internal and external clients including retail customers and wholesale accounts.

Efficiently manage parts inventory including ordering receiving inspecting and stocking parts while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Collaborate with the service department to ensure parts availability for scheduled service appointments and repairs minimizing downtime.

Process parts order and returns promptly and accurately ensuring all transactions are documented and comply with company policies.

Stay informed about new products features and accessories available for import vehicles and attend relevant training and certification programs to enhance expertise.

Advise staff and customers on parts selection and provide recommendations based on specific needs and requirements.

Requirements:

A minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive parts specifically with import brands such as Honda Hyundai Nissan Toyota and Lexus.

Reynolds and Reynolds experience is preferred.

Proven track record of success in a fastpaced highvolume automotive parts environment either at the back counter in a dealership or in a wholesale environment.

Strong understanding of automotive systems and components with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to nontechnical individuals.

Excellent customer service and communication skills with a commitment to meeting the high expectations of our clients and team.

Proficiency with inventory management systems.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
