The Senior Tax Manager for ultra high net worth individuals is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of tax planning and compliance for clients with significant wealth. This individual will work closely with high net worth individuals family offices and other advisors to develop and implement tax strategies that minimize liability and maximize financial opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of tax professionals and providing guidance and leadership in tax planning and compliance matters.
- Developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize tax liability for ultra high net worth clients including estate planning charitable giving and business succession planning.
- Reviewing and approving complex tax returns for individuals trusts and other entities.
- Providing strategic tax advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of tax issues including income tax gift tax estate tax and international tax matters.
- Communicating with clients and other advisors to ensure that tax strategies are aligned with overall financial goals and objectives.
- Keeping up to date on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact high net worth clients.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

A CPA or JD is required and advanced credentials such as an MST or LLM in taxation are preferred.
