Job Description
Job Title: Sr. API Developer
Location: Schaumburg IL (2 days onsite required)
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Job Summary:
Sr. API Developer to work with MuleSoft or Azure platform components such as application program interface (API) Manager Runtime Manager Cloud Hub components and Any Point Studio to successfully integrate Zurichs set of routines protocols and tools for building software applications into other applications.
Specific duties include:
testing and improving performance of the APIs in terms of response time reliability and resource usage
Troubleshooting complex production issues with APIs identifying source of the issue and fixing/working with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed
Basic Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of experience working with:
- MuleSoft API development and cloud hub and RTF environments
- service design using RAML (with JSON) and ODATA
- Azure API development experience preferred
- Integration Architecture concepts principles and patterns to design API Service Oriented Architecture Batch Integration and RESTful JSON services
- cloudbased technologies and integration to technologies hosted in Azure
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities on the team
