Job Description

We arecurrently seeking a skilled and passionate Physics teacher for an outstanding school in Camden. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons ensuring each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. This role will also involve assessing student progress providing constructive feedback and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan prepare and deliver highquality physics lessons according to the schools curriculum guidelines
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic success
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to support their ongoing development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
  • Support students in their academic and personal growth providing guidance and mentorship as required
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers to keep them informed of their childs progress and any concerns
  • Contribute to the wider school community participating in extracurricular activities and events as required

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Physics or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level
  • Indepth knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying uptodate with the latest educational practices and theories
