Job Description:

The Manufacturing Operator position is pivotal within the metered dose inhalation (MDI) products project site in Fall River MA. The role entails overseeing manufacturing operations related to MDI products ensuring adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) customer requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Additionally the Manufacturing Operator plays a multifunctional role providing support to various operational functions including Warehouse Operations Packaging Operations and Facilities Operations as needed.


As a Manufacturing Operator you will be responsible for the production of MDI products ensuring efficiency compliance and safety throughout the manufacturing process. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Dispensing raw materials and primary packing materials according to work orders.
  • Planning and executing batches efficiently.
  • Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of production area and machinery during batchtobatch and producttoproduct changeovers.
  • Recording production materials and lines daily.
  • Conducting inprocess checks and recording data in batch manufacturing records.
  • Controlling machine operations to minimize rejections and maximize outputs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Operating equipment performing maintenance and coordinating with engineering for preventive maintenance and calibration.
  • Filling products according to Batch Manufacturing Records and SOP.
  • Managing inventory of machine parts tools and accessories.
  • Collaborating with other departments for planning and execution.
  • Sampling and coordinating with QA and QC.
  • Ensuring calibration/verification of instruments equipment and weighing balances.
  • Conducting line clearance during changeovers.
  • Documenting manufacturing and filling operations and activities accurately and timely.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Executing tasks in a safe and efficient manner according to Health and amp; Safety procedures.
  • Completing other duties as assigned.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining 100% cGMP and SOP Compliance.
  • Reporting issues to department heads or reporting managers.
  • Performing daily equipment maintenance.
  • Completing documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintaining discipline in the department.
  • Assisting in training other employees.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed to meet manufacturing schedules.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced vocational training or education preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of manufacturing experience with MDI or aerosol products.
  • Proficiency in English (Speaking/Reading/Writing) to understand work instructions and document results.
  • Basic understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with mechanical machinery and control systems.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Knowledge of Health and amp; Safety procedures including OSHA.
  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills.


Training and Safety:

  • All employees will undergo various training activities and Operators may be required to crosstrain in all areas of manufacturing operations. Strict adherence to safety health and environmental guidelines is mandatory during equipment handling.


Physical Requirements:

  • This role requires the ability to do heavy lifting/bending frequently and wear appropriate PPE. Individuals may also be required to wear respiratory devices as needed.
