Tasks
- Deliver daytoday nursing care
- Work autonomously as an autonomous clinician or as part of a small nurse team
- Advise and guide teams on healthrelated matters
- Develop comprehensive health plans
- Assist young people in managing medication
- Provide emergency nursing care as needed
- Undertake medical procedures and protocols
- Help students and residents develop skills for managing their wellbeing
- Liaise with GPs pharmacies and consultants
- Maintain accurate healthrelated documentation
Requirements
- Must hold a nursing qualification for a minimum of 12 months
- Comfortable working autonomously in a residential setting
- Recent competency in respiratory care and management of tracheostomy/laryngectomy preferred
- Compassion and desire to make a positive impact
- No prior experience working with people with disabilities required; training provided
