Day Nurse

Tasks

• Deliver daytoday nursing care
• Work autonomously as an autonomous clinician or as part of a small nurse team
• Advise and guide teams on healthrelated matters
• Develop comprehensive health plans
• Assist young people in managing medication
• Provide emergency nursing care as needed
• Undertake medical procedures and protocols
• Help students and residents develop skills for managing their wellbeing
• Liaise with GPs pharmacies and consultants
• Maintain accurate healthrelated documentation

Requirements

• Must hold a nursing qualification for a minimum of 12 months
• Comfortable working autonomously in a residential setting
• Recent competency in respiratory care and management of tracheostomy/laryngectomy preferred
• Compassion and desire to make a positive impact
• No prior experience working with people with disabilities required; training provided
