Sr Product Engineer

Candidates must be open to a hybrid work setup in San Francisco for an emerging earlystage startup with a unique team culture.

The team is small yet highly committed emphasizing individual ownership and a pursuit of excellence. Currently the team comprises only two people operating in a dynamic environment with occasional ambiguity.

Theres a priority on fostering a strong inperson culture in San Francisco for the founding team while also considering remote work arrangements on a casebycase basis.

While not requiring roundtheclock availability the client values diligence and selfaccountability in managing work schedules with flexibility needed depending on location to align with team and client needs.

The ideal candidate takes full ownership of responsibilities a key factor in the companys growth and success with expectations of decisionmaking and accountability for outcomes.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in delivering production code using languages like TypeScript Rust Python Go or Solidity.

Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to ownership.

A commitment to delivering highquality code independently.

Prior experience with both Web2 and Web3 systems.

4 years of experience in delivering Typescript or Javascript for webbased frontend applications.

Proficiency with tools such as React NextJS Tailwind Wagmi and Viem.

A passion for exploring the possibilities in crypto and a mindset for rapid iteration.

Familiarity with design principles and tools.

Responsibilities:

As an engineer the role is pivotal in establishing the clients foundational infrastructure in a fastpaced startup environment. This involves researching designing and implementing innovative solutions related to hybrid onchain/offchain systems. The candidate will actively deliver substantial code potentially working on areas such as indexers databases smart contracts cryptography and APIs at a global scale.

Onchain: Solidity (deployed on Ethereum/EVM L2s) Foundry

Backend services: TypeScript

Frontend services: NextJS App Router Tailwind tRPC
