Customer service leadership
- Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Automation Engineering matters often requiring coordination between organizations
- Provides expertise in the engineering design installation and startup of automated systems
- Acts as the principal designer for complex major automated systems and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology tools and existing designs
- May contribute to process validation and facility automation
- Provides comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of engineering design installation and startup
- Works closely with client and IT management and staff to identify automated solutions new or modified systems reuse of existing machineryequipment or integration of purchased solutions or a combination of the available alternatives
- Researches and evaluates alternatives and recommends the most efficient and cost effective automated solutions
- Doents tests implements and provides ongoing support for systems
- Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines
- Recognized internally as the goto person for the most complex Automation Engineer ignments
