Business Development:
- Identify and acquire new MSME (Micro Small & Medium Enterprises) and Retail clients for insurance products and services.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide suitable solutions.
B2B Sales:
- Cultivate relationships with business owners decisionmakers and stakeholders in the MSME sector to generate leads and secure partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored insurance solutions for MSME clients.
Direct Sales:
- Directly engage with potential clients to promote insurance products and services.
- Conduct presentations demonstrations and negotiations to close sales deals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on insurance products and services including fire marine motor property and casualty insurance.
- Educate clients on various insurance options and help them make informed decisions.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all sales activities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities client interactions and transactions.
Market Research:
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market research findings.
Requirements:
- 58 years of experience in insurance sales preferably in MSME and retail segments.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and acquiring new clients.
- Strong networking and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of insurance products regulations and industry practices.
- Resultsoriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Graduate degree required; MBA preferred.
- Insurance qualification such as Fellowship Associate or Broker qualification is a plus.
