Job Description
Technical Leadership:
- Liase with the wider EDS team to ensure that the designs conform to all customer and internal requirements/specifications
- Support Virtual and Pyhsical Fresh Eyes / Inch by Inch/Customer specific invechicle validation
- Support the wider engineering team in creatingg and progressing design standards deviations and achieving signoff escalating when necessary
- Stay up to date with engineering innovations and engage with the customer.
Project management:
- Develop the wire harness Design Verification Plan aligned with the project timing using the customer tools.
- Support the wider engineering team in DFMEA/SCSS creation and maintenance.
- Create and maintain regular DV Reports and glide paths to report out project status.
- Ensure all test reports and evidences are fully uploaded into customer system.
- Validate and update as required the project DV plans as cascaded from the customer.
- Schedule all Requirement Test Cases in aligment with project timing and project build events
- Maintain a register of all design standards and customer deviations.
- Customer Focus:
Measure and improve on customers (internal and external) expectations
