Finance and Credit Controller

• Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments of loans and other dues.
  
• Issue invoices and statements accurately and efficiently.
  
• Monitor overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts following ethical and respectful procedures.
  
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  

• Assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants using financial analysis and risk assessment tools.
  
• Set appropriate credit limits and monitor customer creditworthiness.
  
• Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures.
  
• Collaborate with loan officers to ensure adherence to credit policies.
  

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or potential risks.
  
• Provide financial information and insights to management for decisionmaking.
  

• Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
  
• Comply with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  
• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal control procedures.
  
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in accounting Finance or a related field.
  
• Must have registered as a student with ICAN/ACCA.
  
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in a similar role preferably within the financial sector.
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  
• Proficient in financial accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
  
• Strong commitment to ethical and responsible banking practices.
