Job Description
As a Tax Accountant at Truworths you will be responsible for handling taxrelated tasks within the company's financial operations. Your role will involve managing tax compliance ensuring accurate tax filings and providing tax planning advice to optimize the company's financial strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns tax provisions and tax payments
- Stay uptodate with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify tax savings opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors on taxrelated matters
- Assist with tax audits and respond to tax authorities' inquiries
- Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of tax principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Desired Experience:
13 years of experience in tax accounting or related field
UK experience advantageous
CA (SA) advantageous
Audit Articles preferred
