Tasks

• Conduct thorough screening and background checks on potential clients to identify any adverse news sanctions or politically exposed persons (PEPs) in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate the risk profile of highrisk clients and transactions by analyzing their source of funds business activities and relationships to mitigate potential risks effectively.
• Review and analyze client documentation including business contracts financial statements and legal agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reports that highlight key findings risk assessments and recommendations for further action ensuring all findings are documented accurately.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including compliance risk management and legal teams to address any KYCrelated issues and ensure timely onboarding of clients while maintaining compliance standards.

Requirements

• Fluency in German
• Resident in Switzerland
• Completed legal degree and/or relevant compliance certification
• Min. 46 years of PQE in a compliance role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of AML and CFT regulations including familiarity with KYC procedures and requirements.
