Overview:
The Sales Person (officebased) plays a crucial role in driving the companys revenue by identifying potential customers and selling products or services from the office location. This role requires a proactive and persuasive individual who is skilled in engaging customers and closing sales to meet and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling networking and social media
- Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Creating frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Negotiating/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborating with the sales team to understand the target markets and customer profiles
- Maintaining accurate records of sales revenue and invoices
- Participating in events and conferences to build a strong network
- Staying uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in sales
Required Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Excellent selling communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing time management and organizational skills
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Target driven customer focused and motivated towards achieving sales targets
