Job Description

Overview:

The Sales Person (officebased) plays a crucial role in driving the companys revenue by identifying potential customers and selling products or services from the office location. This role requires a proactive and persuasive individual who is skilled in engaging customers and closing sales to meet and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling networking and social media
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Creating frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Negotiating/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborating with the sales team to understand the target markets and customer profiles
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales revenue and invoices
  • Participating in events and conferences to build a strong network
  • Staying uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in sales

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Excellent selling communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Target driven customer focused and motivated towards achieving sales targets
