Our client who specialises in a broad portfolio of airborne land and naval systems as well as products for defence homeland security and commercial applications is seeking a Managing Director with experience in the commercial defence segment and management background. The Managing Director will grow the subsidiarys business while managing its daytoday operation and shall report to Corporate VP and ESNL Board of Directors. The job includes extensive travels in country and abroad.
Key responsibilities areas are as follows:
- Responsibility of growing the Netherlands Subsidiary from 0 to at least 100 million Euro new business in 3 years.
- Managing the company daytoday operation: (employees recruitment process budget control business development and partnership marketing & sales program management execution and customer relations logistics etc.
- Extensive in country and international travel.
- Flexible and long working hours.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in engineering economics or commercial law.
- At least 4 years of experience with military procurement process (DMP)
- DPLAN/COMMIT will be advantageous.
- At least 3 years of commercial management role (marketing/sales) in a defence company. (Global company experience will be advantageous)
- Military background. Midcommand (MajCol.).
- Fluent Dutch and English Speaker. Other languages will be advantageous.
- Energetic dynamic outofthebox thinker creative determined.
BSc/MSc degree in engineering, economics or commercial law. At least 4 years of experience with military procurement process (DMP) DPLAN/COMMIT will be advantageous. At least 3 years of commercial management role (marketing/sales) in a defence company. (Global company experience will be advantageous) Military background. Mid-command (Maj-Col.).
