Our client is a global operating SME developing producing and trading of consumer goods in sports and fashion.
In the strategy of transitioning the commercial business to Switzerland we are looking for a well versed
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (80 100%)
The accounting tax and payrolling divisions for the newly established legal entities in Zug / Switzerland are currently managed by an external trust company. The aim is to integrate the accounting part and establish it inhouse with payrolling also being integrated at a later date. You will be leading the accounting function legal entities in Switzerland.
As key Finance person in the new headquarters in Zug / Switzerland you will be directly reporting into the Group CFO and at the same time closely cooperating with the counterparts in Germany and Asia.
As Senior Accountant you will be responsible for all daytoday tasks such as accounts payable general ledger entries intercompany invoicing and processing of payments.
In addition you will manage on a later stage all tax related matters and perform payroll accounting in Switzerland. As a newly established business in Switzerland you will be required to further develop and define accounting and payroll processes.
You work location will be Zug / Switzerland whereas remote work from home is supported and encouraged.
Your Tasks:
Responsibilities Accounting
Keep the ledgers in full compliance with Swiss GAAP with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure that accounts payable / accounts receivable are booked and
paid / collected in a timely manner
Manage intercompany transactions and cost reinvoicing between entities
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions following Group procedures
Develop and improve accounting processes
Issue timely and complete monthly financial statements
Responsibilities Compliance Tax Legal
Manage all tax aspects (VAT returns income tax return) and support on international tax matters
Coordinate and cooperate with Auditors
Manage Cash Flow: Provide payment lists for adequate payments of suppliers
Responsibilities Payroll (on a later stage)
Manage payroll including social insurances taxes and fringe benefits
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulation and laws in Switzerland
