Job Title: Contract PartTime Epic Cogito Administrator
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Project Focus: Epic to Azure Cloud Migration
Job Summary:
The Epic Cogito Administrator will be instrumental in the migration of our Epic Cogito environment to the Azure cloud platform. This role involves managing the Cogito data ecosystem ensuring the integrity of data warehousing and analytics solutions during and after the migration. The ideal candidate will be a selfstarter with a deep understanding of Epic Cogito modules Azure cloud services and healthcare data compliance requirements. This remote position offers the flexibility to work around your schedule while contributing to a critical healthcare IT initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute the migration of Epic Cogito and its components to Azure ensuring minimal disruption to reporting and analytics functions.
- Administer and support the Epic Cogito data warehouse including Clarity Caboodle and reporting applications such as SlicerDicer and Reporting Workbench.
- Configure and optimize Azure cloud services to support Cogitos data warehousing ETL processes and analytics applications.
- Monitor data integrity and quality performing regular health checks and optimizations to ensure high performance and reliability in the cloud environment.
- Coordinate with Epic application teams to ensure alignment between Cogito data requirements and other Epic modules.
- Provide technical support for Cogito users addressing any issues related to data access performance or reporting.
- Document migration strategies configurations and operational procedures to ensure a comprehensive knowledge base for ongoing management and future initiatives.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Epic Cogito Data Warehouse administration certification is required.
- Proven experience with Epic Cogito modules including handson experience with Clarity and Caboodle.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services particularly those relevant to data management and analytics.
- Understanding of healthcare data standards and compliance requirements such as HIPAA.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities comfortable working remotely as part of a distributed team.
Proven experience with Epic Cogito modules, including hands-on experience with Clarity and Caboodle. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, particularly those relevant to data management and analytics. Understanding of healthcare data standards and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, comfortable working remotely as part of a distributed team.
