The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Office Manager the Senior Administrator is an integral part of business operations. Based full time out of our Client’s office in Langley BC the Senior Administrator will support the Accountant team in all aspects of administration including but not limited to: client relations meeting coordination and dictation invoicing & filing as well as front desk reception.
**The successful candidate must have handson experience working in a senior administration role within an accounting related business or department and be willing to work fulltime in office. Required Experience and Qualifications
3 years of experience working as a Senior Administrator within a Finance or Accounting related business is required
Previous experience working in a Public Practice Accounting Firm is strongly preferred
Handson experience working with CaseWare and TaxCycle along with proficiency in MS Office Suite are required
Demonstrated attention to detail efficiency and organizational excellence
Exceptional People skills are a MUST. Actively seeking candidates who are passionate about customer service and team work in an office setting
Effective time management and proven problemsolving capability
Selfmotivated with a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive confidential information with discretion
Complete fluency in the English language; both written and verbal
Available to work Monday – Friday within the hours of 8am – 5pm daily
Responsibilities of the Position
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
Front office reception: greetings clients answering/directing calls etc.
Coordinate meetings through inner office calendar management taking minutes and sending recaps out to all participants upon conclusion
Support Office Manager by conducting regular audits of office supply inventory and compiling needs
ACCOUNTING SUPPORT
Maintain accurate and uptodate files for all clients including but not limited to: invoices financial statements memos and other electronic communications as well as other personal and/or corporate confidential information
Draft communications and reminders for clients on behalf of the Accountant team
Access print and ready financial statements and corporate tax returns
Compile completed files and documentation for presentation to clients at conclusion of Engagement
Generate and distribute invoices to clients for services rendered
Other assistance as needed including but not limited to: answering phones electronic and manual filing calendar management etc.
